The Royal King of the chosen
is sitting on His throne
at the right hand of His Father
in defense for His own

loving His sons and daughters true
His blood cries mercy still
two thousand years the age of grace
gives hope to be fulfilled

it’s comforting to know He’s there
that He will hear our prayers
as children of the living God
His grace shows that He cares
____
He’s asking us to boldly come
we’re subjects of the King
with offerings of our fellowship
in praise and worship bring
____
where confession shall bring anew
a closer walk with Him
sanctifying what we’ve done wrong
His blood removes all sin
____
to God the Father for His own
Jesus will intercede
with mercy granted to the saints
who go to Him indeed
____
for the mercy seat of the Lord
awaits the humbled plea
from a heart which cries out to God
the blood has set one fre?
